SkillBuild Success: Wales Sends Eight to National Final in Milton Keynes

Another fantastic year for built environment learners in Wales

Eight skilled individuals from Wales have secured places at the SkillBuild National Final 2025, joining the top 80 competitors from across the UK. Their success follows strong performances in the recent Regional Qualifiers, where they demonstrated technical excellence, attention to detail and a clear commitment to their chosen trades.

The SkillBuild National Final, delivered by CITB, will take place on 19–20 November at Arena MK in Milton Keynes. The event is recognised as the UK’s largest multi-trade competition for construction apprentices and trainees, offering a platform to showcase ability at a national level.

Wales will be represented across a range of disciplines, highlighting the strength of training provision and learner achievement across the country.

SkillBuild offers more than competition; it supports personal and professional development, promotes high standards within industry, and creates pathways to future opportunities for those taking part.

We look forward to seeing the Welsh finalists compete alongside the UK’s best at this year’s final in Milton Keynes.
