Run by WorldSkills Silver medalist Rubben Duggan, this session focuses on the technical and assessment standards required for high-level plumbing competitions, with a particular emphasis on areas where marks are frequently lost. Drawing on the highest of competition expertise, the day provides a platform for staff to refine their understanding of competition structures and the common pitfalls that affect learner performance.
Attendees will participate in practical demonstrations and hands-on tasks designed to highlight precision and technical excellence. The session also addresses strategies for maintaining learners’ engagement and registration levels within the plumbing sector.
