Developed by industry expert Peter Walters to bridge the gap between core skills and elite standards expected at national levels, this session focuses on fine-tuning of painting and decorating techniques. The content explores methods to elevate learners’ standards, including refining setting-out techniques and introducing efficiency tips to improve speed without compromising quality.
The session also addresses the practicalities of integrating competition-level training into existing curriculum delivery. Discussions will focus on building learner resilience and navigating the logistical challenges of training for high-level competitions.
This session is aimed at painting and decorating staff who wish to move beyond baseline competency and support their learners in achieving national standard precision.
