Join us for a free, one-hour online information session designed to introduce tutors, lecturers, training providers and employers to the Net Zero Skills Competition 2026/27.
Whether you're completely new to Skills Competition Wales or have supported competitors previously, this session will provide an insight into what the competition involves and how your organisation can get involved.
We'll begin with an introduction to net zero and its importance before exploring the competition format, eligibility requirements and what competitors can expect before and during competition day. This will include a breakdown of the pre-competition task, the challenges teams will face, competitor expectations and assessment criteria.
A key highlight of the session will be the opportunity to explore examples of previous competitor submissions, offering valuable insight into how teams have approached the challenge, developed innovative solutions and presented their ideas.
We'll also share practical advice on preparing learners, incorporating competition activities into classroom teaching and accessing available resources and support. The session will conclude with information on registration and an opportunity to ask questions.
With registration opening soon, this is the perfect opportunity to discover the competition, explore what's involved and find out how your learners can take part.
