Introduction to Retrofit SCW26 Competition

The session is appropriate for staff across Further education and Work based Learning who have an interest in gaining an understanding on the opportunities and new initiatives for learners in the Built Environment sector.

The event will:
In partnership with Metaverse, discuss the Retrofit competition and how it will work, exploring the virtual platform for the Skills Competition Wales 2026 Retrofit competition

In partnership with CWIC, host a Passivhaus Retrofit Practical session on airtightness and ventilation; insultation and thermal bridging and, windows and doors airtightness

In partnership with CADW, support understanding of how retrofit impacts old and heritage buildings
