Bricklaying Competition Assessment CPD 2026

Delivered by lecturer and SkillBuild judge Marcus Didinno, this session will provide Bricklaying tutors with a clear understanding of assessment expectations, marking principles, and judging methodology used in bricklaying competitions.

Attendees will review examples of marking criteria, explore common strengths and weaknesses seen in competition builds, and gain practical insight into how judging decisions are made. This session will support tutors in preparing learners effectively and developing competition-informed teaching practice.

This session is suitable for Bricklaying tutors across FE and Work-Based Learning.
