Automotive CPD 2026 – Practical Competition Preparation

Led by highly experienced automotive competition expert Dave Walker, this session will explore the technical and assessment standards required within Automotive competitions. The session includes a practical demonstration component, giving attendees direct insight into tasks, expectations, and common performance indicators used by judges.

Attendees will gain clarity on competition structure, scoring, and the specific skills learners need to demonstrate to achieve high marks. The session also provides guidance on integrating competition-based activity into curriculum delivery.

This session is ideal for Automotive tutors preparing learners for competition or seeking to strengthen their delivery of technical and diagnostic skills.
