Horticulturalists are trained to maintain gardens and are involved in designing and planting containers, hanging baskets and borders.
In this competition, competitors will be required to complete various elements of soft landscape. This will include bed preparation, design and planting of a raised border. Participants will also be required to demonstrate plant knowledge and to merchandise a display in a retail plant area
