Digital Support and Security is a new competition that combines elements from the former IT Support Technician and IT Network Security competitions. Digital Support and Security plays a vital role in the everyday functioning of modern society. This competition highlights the key skills and knowledge required to build a successful career in Digital Support and Security across a wide range of industries.

Competitors are assessed on their ability to configure IT hardware and software to meet specific customer needs. This can include setting up a client-server network with a domain controller, configuring operating systems, assigning IP addresses to devices, and maintaining and troubleshooting ICT networks while ensuring proper connection to a local area network (LAN).
