Carpenters use their skills to cut, fit and assemble wood structures and fittings such as roofs, windows and doors.
In this competition, competitors have to complete a specific project designed to challenge their ability to follow detailed instructions, produce accurate and neat work outputs, and be economical with materials while working to strict timescales – all essential requirements for today’s construction industry. The competitor will be marked on Health and Safety.
