SkillsFest - Wind Power Systems CPD

Date: 29th October 2025
Time: 9.00 - 17.00

We are pleased to offer the opportunity to attend a one-day Wind Power Systems CPD course hosted at University Campus Doncaster.

This session provides a practical and engaging introduction to renewable energy generation through wind systems, with access to UCDon’s specialist renewable energy laboratories.

Our organisation will cover the full cost of the session, making this a valuable and accessible development opportunity for relevant teaching or technical staff.

About the Course

Participants will explore how small-scale wind turbines generate and store electrical energy, and how to configure and operate system components such as charge controllers, batteries, and inverters. The course is designed for technicians, lecturers, and operational staff working in or transitioning into renewable energy delivery.
