With the growth of Mechatronics and System 4.0 skills within Skills Competitions, this session will focus on
Automation and the use of fluid power systems and PLCs in modern industry.
The event will:
● Explore practical approaches to teaching automation in educational settings
● Share guidance for competition preparation and learner assessment
● Include demonstrations of PLC programming tools and integrating PLCs into fluid power systems
● Provide an overview of Systems 4.0 and automation trends
